Catches fine to large debris usually good for one to two cleanings depending on the number of fish. Easy to clean just rinse under running tap water until clean.

This is my review of the Fluval product foam blocks for Fluval canister filters. The foam block comes in a two block pack. The filter takes two packs to fill. The price point is comparable to other sites plus the ease of ordering is a plus. The shipping cost is reasonable to most ordering sites. I have been a Fluval product user and have found no other product comes close to what Fluval makes. Their products are far superior. The foam block aids in filtration trapping particles and keeping water clean. I would recommend this product as it is the one that fits in the slot and works. The foam block comes in varied sizes depending on your size of filter. The block lasts a long time so replacement is very minimal. I give this product 5 stars being a Fluval product, easy to install and lasts a long time before replacement and low cost.

The best price around for these Fluval filters. You never have too many when it comes to replacement filter pads.

Pores are significantly larger than the foam pads provided with the canister. I am only keeping them because returning them is not worth the trouble.

These are not the same foam blocks that Fluval used to make. Much less dense and less effective.
