This is a Fantastic light. It far exceeded my expectations,Very good performance,Plenty of options & lighting effects for my needs providing ease of use.Wide range of color adjustments.
24 hour cycle with ramp up & down effects.
The blue tooth fluval smart app from my smart phone
or lab top works flawless. i have fresh water african cichlid tanks
and have1 of the 48-60" model. & 2 of the 36-48" models

Can I use this light with a planted freshwater aquarium?
- I would think so it has the red,blue,green,colors and the power. it would be a matter of preference
