I purchased this items just in case I needed them I tried them when I had some cloudy water and they worked great. I tried them recently after a bloom of green water with no success. Had to buy a UV sterilizer for green water. It is a good product to catch any dirt that gets thru the first 3 stages but its not a diatomic filter.

Well, I made my own filter and use this with it. It works pretty well, but could work better.

I have been using these polishing pads for 7 years and have had no problems with them. They hold a lot of dirt and stuff out of the aquarium and are easy to dispose of. Well worth the money.

Used this product for the first time and it worked great. I switched to a dirt type product for my substrate in my new 60 gallon tank which is great for the live plants but not so good when it is disturbed. It makes the water very cloudy when it is disturbed, so i put 2 of these in my hang on back filter (which has 4 slots) in place of 2 of the carbon filters and it cleared the water in hours, not days. I would highly reccomend this product.

These pads made my water so much cleaner. Super amazing!

used this as a filter for my e-cigerret works great! No fish where killed by buying this product but as small as the filter is I can sell 5 out of 6 so what I need I could have used only 1.

I actually would put one of these in the pack of my penguin filter to clear up my saltwater aquarium. Its fantastic and works wonders!
