Two sided fly paper applied to cats.

This product failed completely. It didn't adhere as promised to fabric on furniture. It got caught on the hands of person installing it and would come off easily. Oftenly my experience was it would catch and adhere to itself after removal of white sheet. Don't buy this product, it doesn't work as advertised.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this to keep two of my cats from scratching furniture. I was skeptical, but it was an inexpensive way to start. My boys liked scratching a chair and the couch. I only put it on the chair to start. I couldn't believe how quickly it deterred them! I never did put it on the couch. They no longer scratch any furniture! I'm completely in shock at how well this worked!! I haven't even had to replace the tape yet because they don't scratch it!

Yes, I recommend this product.

It has deterred my cats from sharpening their claws on my new furniture. As their is a push to pass a bill in NY State outlawing declawing of cats, I can't stress enough that this is a remedy worth trying.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My cats were using the furniture as they scratching post and sticky paws stopped them completely. I would tell anyone to give it a try.

Ovnerall good product, not highly visible to the human eye when applied, my cats do not want to scratch where product is applied.

I liked Sticky Paws, however I learned not to apply to scotch guarded surfaces as it will not adhere. I applied it next to a non-scotch guarded sofa, it adhered well, low visibility to human eye. I purchased the narrow strips, next time I will purchase the wider sheets. I also sprayed the areas surrounding the tape with Natures Miracle clawing deterrant. That worked especially well on a beloved Ratan Chair. Works well, I will purchase again. Dawn

It was a terrific idea; however.... The stickiest part of the product is the part not applied to the couch side. As a result, a cat has no issue with pulling the product off the couch. I came home to several balled up pieces of this product on my floors. The product needs to me stickier on the couch. Not sure how to approach that? In any event... did not work.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not at all worth the money

I am very disappointed by the quality of these. I have a cloth sofa, and purchased 5 packs of these to cover the arms, back, and all vertical surfaces that the cats love to stretch and dig their claws into. Unfortunately, the sheets were barely sticky enough to cling to the fabric, making application as impossible as trying to use plastic wrap for the job. When they finally were on, the cats used their mouths and paws to play with the sticker sheets, and pulled them off (thanks for the new toy, Mom!). Anytime a family member walked by the sofa, the paper would cling to their pant leg. Hear sheets barely lasted a few days and definitely did not do the job they were made to do. I am very disappointed and would love my money back from this purchase.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Can sticky paws be used on a leather or vinyl sofa without damaging it?

  1. No it will not adhere as promised.

Are the sheets transparent in color?

  1. Yes

Will Sticky Paws tape pull out tightly woven wicker?

  1. I would be very cautious, as it did tear my microfiber chair, but I left on for 2 weeks, so maybe was too long to sit. It is a very strong pull when removing.

Has it been tried on leather furniture? Will it pull off the dye?

  1. I use it on my cream colored leather. I have never seen any color come off. I would think that would depend on the quality of the leather.

Is it ok for leather furniture?

  1. I use on the edges of my leather couches, I haven't pulled strips off yet, but I think will be okay.

I want to know if Sticky Paws will stick to a Durablend sofa which is a blend of natural and man made materials.

  1. My guess is will stick just fine. My sofa is a blended fabric and there was no problem.

Has anyone used to keep cats from going underneath the bed?

  1. Had the same problem with my lift chair....every time I raised the foot in he'd go...even got stuck under there one night all night long...LOL.....so I used one of the big sheets on the floor under the foot rest...worked like a charm....Don't see why it wouldn't work on your bed...be worth a try anyway. Good luck!

Will fur stick to this?

  1. Fur would stick, but she won't want to rub on this. Both of my cats have long hair, and my strips don't seem to be cover with hair or dirt. It does look like you put tape on your chairs, but cleanish tape.

Once my cats stop scratching the furniture, can the tape be removed (without furniture damage)?

  1. Mine has come off no problems or residue on y furniture.

Will sticky tape work for dogs clawing window sills, aggressive barking issues?

  1. No. It only works for cats scratching or probably would work for animals going somewhere you don't want them to go, such as jumping on windowsills. Might work to stop clawing window sills, but I'm not sure.
