I bought these thinking it would be easy to give all 3 of my cats meds. I read a previous review stating the owner tried the treats on there own first then put the meds. Well I tried and all 3 cats who love treats sniffed them and immediately walked away. I will not buy these again nor would I recommend them.

Compounds didn't work ...

The walls of our petite 6-yr old Bella' s heart are thickening. Following an attack, she was prescribed 2 Rxs. Despite numerous attempts with compounds of different flavors -- without meds, then with meds -- she ran FROM them. I thank the day I tried Greenies chicken pill pockets as now she runs TOWARD the Greenies and regularly gets her meds. This product is helping her stay alive!

It seems I must have a very hard to please cat. She would not eat the pill pocket at all. I tried everything, from breaking the pill into small pieces to hide it better. I even tried just giving her a small piece of the pill pocket without any medication at all and she wouldn't even taste it. So while some folks say it's the best product, for me, it was not so great. :( Really wish it had worked. Good luck to those who to buy this.

I am so glad I decided to try these because my kitten took her deworming medication without any issues. I am a first time cat owner so it has been quite a learning experience. The first time I tried to give her a pill, we both ended up a little traumatized. This time it was a pleasant experience for both of us. These also smell really tasty, which is probably why my cat just ate the pocket rather than spitting out the pill when I tried to mask it with food the first time. Now I am no longer worried about giving her pills in the future, which is a relief!

Best product ever. My poor kitty with liver issues has been on Denamarin (same) for 4 years and until recently we had to both hold her and one of us open her mouth and drop pill inside, it was stressful for my husband and I but especially poor Cleopatra, this has saved her stress and probably will keep her healthier in the long run, she loves the flavor and is limited in her diet and on special foods, but the vet allowed it and she has had (knock on wood) no re-precussions and they are YUMMY to her and of course her sister sneaks them to, without the pill of course.....LOL.. Thanks so much PETCO and greenies, you have saved our baby stress finally, and us.

Greenies fake chicken pill pockets

One of my cats takes a pill every day for a heart murmur. I had some Greenies I purchased locally. These had real chicken in them and my cat ate them quite quickly. I ordered this product online and now, my cat will not touch them. Look at the ingredients before you buy these
