I bought 2 of these for 2 different cages. I had to put it together inside the cage because it would not fit through the door. It did not fit over the wire in the cage to hang so I had to place them on the bottoms of the cages that they are in. The birds seem to like them fine. Not much bathing going on as it is just getting in and looking around or drinking from them.

The bird bath is a good product but the description should mention the bars on a Hagen cage are horizontal not verticle as most cages are. However, if you have a small door off another cage you can adapt the bath by using placing the spare door sideways between the bath connectors and the cage so the bars to attach it to are horizontal.

This birdbath looks good, but I could not use it as It would not fit thru the cage door. My canary loves to bathe & was terribly disappointed when I put it back in the box!

I agree with previous user not sure it mounts easily to any cage. (I was not sure how it mounted at all) I however decided to put it on the bottom of the cage and my finches loved it. It is more stable on the bottom of the cage and contains the splashing wonderfully compared to just an open dish on the bottom. Highly recommend.

Product DOES NOT attach to any wire bird cage as stated. To mount to a wire cage, the "easy" mounting tabs will only mount sideways making the seam of the two halves on the BOTTOM of the bath letting all the water run out all over the cage.
