The fish food is a good value, and easy to use. We have a "Pacu", that is about 14 inched long, and about 9 inches tall. He loves the food along with frozen brine shrimp. If only you could ship the brine shrimp??????

I know this food gets good reviews but none of my fish will eat it. Africans, large severums, tiger fish (Datnioides polota) . Not even my 20" arowana who tries to eat everything from shirt sleeves to finger tips. I bought it mainly for the arowana but he just spits it out. I have tried it strait from the bag and soaking it. My dog likes it though so I guess it wont be a total loss.

Although I'm still on the search for food because variety is key, I have to say that this food has given my African cichlid great coloration and they love it. My Africans went from skinny to fat, in a matter of a week! Flake food wasn't cutting it. Neither was brine shrimp or minnows. This is my primary food choice. (Africans require a veggie diet, not so much of a meaty one, as a result I'm still looking for food).

This stuff is great for many reasons. First, my Oscar eats it. It floats, so it approximates his natural feeding behavior. He's vibrant, colorful, extremely active and seemingly happy.

I have used Hikari Cichlid Gold for over a decade, and I have had terrific results with it. My fish enjoy it and have done very well with it as their primary source of food. It never clouds the water and is easy to feed.

can angelfish eat this food ?

I am confused by the answer from 'staff,' as Angelfish are cichlids and eat this top end product in my tanks with absolutely no issue.
