I wanted to setup a different tank with black sand. I didn't want to use blasting sand do to the possibility of sharpness damaging my corys barbs. This is a nice smooth fine true black sand which works great with my fish and live plants. Just takes a bit to get it all to sink.

Yes, I recommend this product.
