Interceptor Plus is a chicken-flavored chewable that kills the immature form of heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis). Interceptor Plus also treats and controls adult roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum), whipworms (Trichuris vulpis), and tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis).

Interceptor Plus must be administered monthly, preferably on the same date each month. Interceptor Plus may be given year round, although some veterinarians may recommend giving it only during the mosquito season. If given seasonally, the first dose must be given within 30 days of the dog's first seasonal exposure to mosquitoes and continuing until at least 6 months after the dog's last seasonal exposure to mosquitoes.
Do not use in puppies less than 6 weeks of age or less than 2 pounds.
