The Junda Lin's Peppermint Shrimp was named after professor and researcher Dr. Junda Lin, who was dedicated to the advancements within the marine aquarium trade. Just like its common counterpart, the Junda Lin's Peppermint Shrimp is a great resource if you have aiptasia anemones on rock work. Their appearance is more attractive as well, with yellow legs, a large blue spot, and a blue shine. They are a great, peaceful, and reef-safe addition to your cleanup crew. Having multiple in your aquarium will ensure that at least one will like eating aiptasia, and will increase the speed at which they get the job done. Three or more also gives hobbyists the best chance to have these critters spawn in the aquarium. They will not only eat aiptasia but will also clean up uneaten food and detritus. For continued health, be sure to supplement their diet with small meaty foods and sinking pellets. Since these are cultured specimens, they will readily take to prepared meaty diets with ease.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
