Flea, tick and mosquito bites can be very painful for your dog. Worse, those bites may expose your dog to irritation, itching and even deadly diseases. Fleas may cause Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD) and if ingested, fleas could cause tapeworms. A bite from an infected tick can transmit diseases, such as Lyme disease or Rocky Mountain spotted fever, to your dog. And mosquitoes may transmit heartworms or even West Nile virus to your dog. K9 Advantix II is a veterinarian-recommended monthly flea, tick and mosquito treatment for your dog that kills through contact. No biting required.

- I did! I used to use Frontline and it was the best years ago, but now many bad thing as well as this medication is way better. I live in CT and we have a tick infestation epidemic! I pulled over 40 off my male dog and almost 30 off my female coming from a walk.

My dog frequently stays at a doggy daycare. Do I need to routinely treat her for fleas, ticks, worms, etc? She has no signs of any problems. Thanks!
- Yes. All it takes is 1 flea and you could infest your house and mark my words it takes forever to get rid of them. I do it every month without fail

advantix 2 is it safe?
- We currently have a Havanese. She is now just over 1 year old, and we got her at 11 weeks. She weighs about 8.5 lbs. Our first Havanese passed away in November 2015, at 16.5 years. We also have 5lb. Chihuahua, who just turned 13. All are rescues, of course. Our vet recommended K9 Advantix for all, and it is the only product we use. None of our babies have issues when we apply it monthly. On the Havanese, we part her hair just between the shoulder, squeeze it on, and then play with her until it dries a little. Make sure you get it on the skin, not just on the hair, or it won't have the same effect. Hope this helps.

anybody else seen irritation on their dog where the product was applied?
- I have not had irritated spots.. Last year i did not apply Advantix during the winter. When I started up in the spring, my dog exhibited neurological problems, including itching and discomfort and restlessness. I started him on benadryl. The vet said to give him benadryl for several days before applying Advantix. I did this for two months, and then didn't need to anymore. Also, I am applying Advantix II year round, no more problems. Did you by any chance not apply Advantix for several months, and your dog had to build up tolerance again. What does your vet say?
