I purchased 3 beds for my home - family room, my office, & my husbands office. We have 2 medium size puppies under 2 years old - a golden retriever & a golden doodle. My golden doodle is a chewer, and has destroyed every mattress, blanket, and bed I've tried - until I purchased the K & H beds. My puppies do not "flip" the bed, as the previous reviewer described, so I've not had that experience. I can say they wash up beautifully, as I wash all of the covers weekly due to my puppies sensitive skin issues. It's been almost a year since my purchase, and the beds are intact & look like new - no issues.

I know those of you that are dog lovers pride your self on finding a dogbed with durable washable features. Unfortunately, what they don't tell you is that the bottom of the bed is made out of that horrible flimsy black papery material, with the small plastic bumps. This means that if your pet decides to flip it upside down and try to make a spot for him/herself, it will be ripped to shreds. That is if your washer doesn't destroy it or leave it weakened with numerous balls and shreds all over it. keep in mind that a medium size bed is going to cost you $74. I would not have bought this bed, if they had disclosed what the bottom was made of. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
