K&H doesn't get the credit they deserve for high quality products

We bought one of K&H's 3 quart heated water bowls for the outdoor community cats and feral cats. It was -5 degrees Fahrenheit last night, with wind chill around 20 below. This morning, the 1 qt. heated water bowls we bought from another source had a thick layer of ice on the surface, but the K&H bowl was fine, there was no sign of ice. Thank you K&H for helping us to help the poor cats our neighbors left outside, or moved away and abandoned. I'm not the only person who helps outdoor cats. These water bowls should probably be listed on pages for cat products as well as dog products. Thank you.

I purchased the heated bowl for my chickens water. I have used a rubber bowl and broke ice for many years. I built a frame with vertical bars around the bowl so the chickens can't walk in the water and I can still remove the bowl from the back side to clean. I liked this bowl and it worked so well I ordered another for the other coop. I liked that it is only 25 watts and not too expensive.

This product does keep water warm for my barn cat.

Over the winter, keeping water fresh and warm for RJ the barn cat was an issue, so I purchased the heated waterer for him. he took to it right away. I would prefer that it had a longer cord since you are not supposed to use an extension cord, so I had to change the location of the water dish. Earlier in the season I also purchased the heated water bucket from you for horses. Our winter was fairly mild when you sent me requests for a review, so I didn't answer as I hadn't used it. It is indeed a lifesaver and made a Pennsylvania winter much more bearable!

Excellent for outdoor feral cats once they find it.

Water stays slightly cool and never freezes even in "0" wind chill. This past few days on Long Island has been very hard on the animals outdoors and this bowl kept the water perfectly. Wish everyone would supply water for these outdoor animals, some food would be good too.

Needed a heated water dish for an outside cat up here in NW Montana. Read reviews of others that had problems before purchasing this one. So far, so good; no problems. Works great in near zero temps. The cat is happy, what more could you want?
