My Cockatiel's Favorite

NeatPetite

I've tried many healthy mixtures and this is my cockatiel's favorite. It has just the right amount of small seeds to larger items for his taste and is visually appealing with its many textures and colors. Kaytee Fiesta Cockatiel Food is the basis for his 'Tray Mix'. I add freeze dried items (peas, corn, various fruits etc.). His tray sits next to me while we both enjoy breakfast. This tray of food is available to him all day. I highly recommend it as my little gourmet loves it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I rescued this Cockatiel 2 months ago. After so many years of eating ??? He is so excited to eat this food. He will not eat the fresh fruit or vegetables I have offered him. Happily munches this seed mixture. I did sprinkle some of the seed in perlite it did grow and he will eat small amount of these greens.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My Susie loves this product

I have been feeding my cockatiel (Susie) this brand of seeds for a few years and she seems to love it. When I put the food into her feeder and she jumps on the rim - it's almost as if she's doing a little dance - she moves side by side before eating it..

Yes, I recommend this product.

Birds LOVE THIS

SunConures

I give my birds this as a treat twice a week. They get natural pellets other days, but they love this as a treat. One on my other birds will only ear this. Birds are very happy and healthy, so i am happy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Our twenty one year old Cockatiel has been eating Kaytee Fiesta since we brought him home from the pet store 21 years ago. Since we were told his lifespan woul be ten to fifteen years, we can't help but think the Kaytee Fiesta diet has something to do with it. He is still healthy and going strong! He also loves the food and gobbles it up.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I have come to the place of having older and finicky birds. I have always put them on the healthiest food, from pellets to special mixes, but now they want what they would find if they lived out in the wild. So be it. This is a nice mix of seed and pelleted food.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Though I'm not too crazy about the amount of sunflower seed that has been added recently, my birds seem to like this mix. I also add other things like fresh veg and fruits so they get a balanced diet.

Yes, I recommend this product.

your description of the product clearly states product is in a resealable bag

    balanced diet

    1. Sun Conures should not be on a seed diet at all, it is too fatty and unhealthy for them. They should be on a pelleted diet supplemented with lots of fresh (washed and ideally organic) fruits and vegetables. (NEVER avocado - it's highly toxic.) If kept on all seed diets, they will die earlier than their projected lifespan due to liver disease caused by malnutrition and too much fat. (I speak from first-hand experience.) Try Roudybush or Harrison's pellets - they are the best brands. For a conure, choose relatively small-sized pellets to be sure that they are easily palatable for them.

    Kaytee Fiesta Mix

    1. The Fiesta Max has a lot more variety in the mix. It is a great product but I don't have a lot of luck with it because my Cockatiels just pick out the seeds. The Fiesta mix has a lot more seeds.
