My Susie loves this product

Susie - my cockatiel - was just introduced to the fruit and vegetable sticks. I have always bought just the honey ones. The first time I attached the fruit stick to her cage - she attacked it with gusto. Now I attach one of each in her cage..

Yes, I recommend this product.

Terrific treat

My birds love this. It's a once-a-week treat. I put it near their perch for a before bedtime snack. My one quaker even steals all the sticks for a special nest in his cage!

My bird loves it. She likes Tropical Fruit Bar the best among all other bars. She can eat a lot of it. I sure will recommend it to all Cockatiel owners.

Fall Apart

PaulChap

I gave these sticks a recommendation and three(3) stars because my bird has loved them for over 10 years. However, unlike a few years ago, they fall apart. In some cases they break apart when taken out of the container. The add shows the stick holder in a light tan color, now, they are a dark brown, and whatever method that was used to keep everything together on the holder has been changed. If there was another product as good, I would switch. The only reason I continue purchasing them is because my bird loves them. The manufacturer should be made aware of this problem, it has now been going on for far too long.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy to Share

These are great treats. Sometimes, if my birds have a hard time to know where to start, which they probably will find eventually, I just crack the snack so they see a starting point. What's great is that the Cockatiel treat can be shared with the Lovebirds and If I'm low with the Lovebirds' treats, the Parakeets' treats can be shared with the Lovebirds'. I know a lot of people say it's too hard. I just crack it so they know where to start, they they eat it with no problem.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Don't buy online

Anyone who knows of these treat sticks know that they need to be whole in order for the birds to like them. I ordered 5 packages of them online and when I received them they were good for bird seed is all. They were completely pulverized when I got them. I did call service and they are supposed to be sending me out new one's...we'll see how these look.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Magic

Barsco

If my two cockatiels attack these any faster they'd be gone before I close the cage door. I bought them a new playpen and, you know cockatiels, they ignore ANYTHING new for at least two weeks so they wouldn't go on the new playpen. I put one of these treats on it and it was like the brave new world - they couldn't get there fast enough

Yes, I recommend this product.

My bird can't get enough of these

Great treats for cockatiels - only fallback is that they tend to arrive crumbled in the packages - this has happened twice, but Petco has been good at replacing the defective products

Yes, I recommend this product.

How many gallons does Kent's Reef Kit treat ?

    1. Thank you for your question JimmyJoe. The Reef Starter Kit comes with three 4 oz (118 ml) sample bottles (Iodide, Strontium & Molybdenum, and Liquid Calcium). Each of these recommends up to 5 ml (1 tsp) per 50 gallons, providing 1,180 gallons of water treated. The suggested dosage ranges from daily (Iodide), to every 4-days (Strontium & Molybdenum), while calcium needs very by reef requiring a test kit to monitor & determine dosage amounts & frequency. The intention of this starter kit is to help kick-off your reef keeping by providing the three most important supplements (outside of the salt itself). Once your reef is up and running, a more economical way to provide these supplements is through larger size bottles: 347523 - 8 oz Iodide 490814 - 8 oz Strontium & Molybdenum 490822 - 8 oz Liquid Calcium 652350 - 64 oz Liquid Calcium
