Rubber piece fell off!! Chinchilla ate it

A blue round rubber piece that is on the back of the wheel, that spins along the back of the wheel fell off into my chinchilla’s cage and he ate half of it.

Large exersize wheel

This wheel fell apart 3 times with in an hour or so of my Hedgehog trying to use it. When she ran it would unscrew itself from the stand and fall. I have now purchased another brand wheel and it works very well. I would Not recommend this wheel to anyone. It was returned immediately.

Very quite wheel and extra roomy if your fur baby is a lil chucky like ours is . We love it and our hamster seem to love it too. Have had this wheel for almost 2 years now with no problems at all . It is easy to clean . Comes with a stand if you have glass enclosure or easily mounts on wire cage too. Every small pet should have one.

Over the years I have several hamsters, mice and gerbils. This is the BEST and "SILENT" wheel. Happy hamster and we are not kept awake!

If I had any other animal this would be perfect. But hedgehogs are clumsy and they step on their poop and onto the wheel. So everyday cleaning was a must. The product was built strong and the most quiet exercise equipment as stated in its name.

This wheel is great for the hedgehogs and quiet when they use it ,however the chinchillas are another story. They have the wheels pulled apart either having chewed the yellow plastic screw pieces apart or the colored section of the wheel has been separated from the white part of the wheel and thus with 2 weeks they have it destroyed and it also makes more noise when thy are bouncing on it.I truely wish it did wprk well for them because they do need a wheel,but replacing it every 2 weeks isn't possible.

Quieter than other wheels

This is our second wheel and I purchased this one again because it is the quietest we've had. The wheels that came with our hamster cages were horrible and were immediately replaced. For the price this is a great item. It's not totally silent, which I really didn't expect it to be, but it makes a very faint fan-like sound. Doesn't keep anyone awake at nite! Would recommend.

Is this a durable exercise wheel?
- it is what all the pet stores near me use for hamsters gerbils and rats so i would thin it was safe. our hamsters chew alot too but we give them lots of toys and wooden chews to help curb that .

How can I get my hamster to run in this wheel?
- patients lots of patients . We just got another hamster like a week ago and he dont get on his wheel much but now we trying him in a run about ball and he loves that . it even seems he is trying his wheel a bit more now. So order the run about ball and see if that helps him run off energy . they even make a track if free roaming all thru the house in a ball is not an option at your house but i would get 2 sets of tracks and put them together (one track makes a really small circle 2 is so much better for your hamster ) hope this helps
