Don't Waste Your Money

Loaded it with some snacks and less than 15 minutes later threw it away as my medium size dog had destroyed it.

Useless

The openings are too big to hold in kibble, so this treat dispenser empties in a matter of minutes. And there's no trick to it, so why it would be labeled a genius toy is beyond me. Don't waste your money.

Treat Toy Turned Food Dispenser

BocaBabe

I got this toy thinking "wow my pup will have something to do while I'm gone!" (6month pitbull) but when I put treats inside the toy, he couldn't get them out! I tried big treats, medium sized treats and nothing. He has a strong bite so it's definitely not that he isn't strong enough, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe my dog is just too lazy to work for it.. I have now resorted to using it as a feeding game. I pour his food inside of it and let him have at it. That has worked very effectively as he is a fast eater and I didn't want to pay $30+ for a "specialized Kong slow feeder".

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not durable

I was so excited to purchase what I thought was a durable toy by Kong but was extremely disappointed that my puppy who is a 6 month old terrier mix chewed the ends off in less than an hour. I purchased this toy on the suggestion of a coworker who raved about it because her dog really enjoyed it and was known to be an active chewer. It took my puppy no time at all to find the treat and continue to devour the ends of the toy. I've written a note to Kong in hopes that they refund some of my money because this was more than $10.00 for less than an hour of play time.

GIves our Heeler a job!

This Kong toy is great for our Blue Heeler, he will spend hours working to get treats out of the center. I drop about 10 little nibblers inside the toy and then leave one larger treat sticking out for immediate gratification. He will toss the toy over any over and get little nibbler treats out after eating the big one. Long story short. Our boy needs a job and this Kong product gives him something to work on for an hour or two. Our Beagle/Boxer mix will also work on it for maybe a 1/2 hour but our Heeler definitely maintains interest longer than that. The only word of caution I will mention is that large treats do get stuck in the middle so don't put anything super stinky in there.

Yes, I recommend this product.

durable, pet needs attention

This is a durable toy. We have a tough chewer in the family. We put in hard treats. She worked the toy well. Problem: she was constantly licking the opening to get the crumbs out. If left to herself, she would have licked it for hours. The last time we let her do that, she damaged her chin and it scanned over. Would recommend with constant supervision only.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Not as tough as the original red Kong

leonisse

I bought this thinking since it's a KONG it would be as tough as the original red Kong. That one is going on for 10 months and it's just now showing some signs of wear. And my pit bull chews on it every night. He is an average chewer. I gave this new one to him tonight and in less than an hour he was able to make a hole in it and start wearing out the edges at the end. Definitely disappointing for the price paid. Apparently it's not the same quality or tough material as the other KONG. Not sure if I can return it. Will probably let him finish it off, but now I am weary of buying other expensive KONG toys. I'm giving it 2 stars because my dog really liked it, but I had to take it away from him in order to make the toy last longer.

No, I do not recommend this product.
