It looks just like the picture. The ball is filled with something so it makes like a rattle noise. And the feathers do shed a little but I've noticed a lot of feather toys do. My cat loves this bc she loves toys with feathers, she likes to rub her face on them. Also this toy is great bc the feather is long enough for the cat to get a hold of it so it can "fight" with it. I would purchase again. I tried giving 5 paws but it would not let me.

I bought this for my cat Bobby who loves feathers and balls. I thought, oh by Kong should be near indestructible for my cat, wrong. He had the tail ripped off in just under 2 hrs.

If you have more than one kitty, make sure to order 2 of these....our 2 both wanted it all the time, and are not that good at sharing!

I bought this item since it was on sale but my 4 cats don't seem to care for it.

I expected Pepper to love this toy, since she seems to like stuff with feathers, but this Wild Tail toy hardly got her attention.

So far, this toy has held up really well! the tail is long, and my kittens love it! One of them throws it up in the air and plays for a long time with it! I'm very happy with it!

my cat has never had a toy before all I knew was she liked string. so I got her this. when I got back to my house my cat liked it she plays with it ONLY when I play with her. if your cat is picky don't get it if its got an open mind your cat will have a blast!

Entertaining for about 2 minutes, until kitties tear off the tail and then it just becomes a ball that rattles and a dangerous loose piece of fuzzy.
