No control of the water coming out, very little suction, filter bag too small. Broke on first use, had to use PVC cement to put together again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The handle is stationary and will not pivot. It makes it hard to use on the sides of the pond. Don't like the way the bags hook on either. Not easy or quick to put bags on.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not for small ponds with rocks on bottom

I also purchased the pole with this and I find it too hard to maneuver it all within our small pond to get anything truly cleaned. Also we have 3/4" rocks on the bottom of our pond and the vacuum sucks them up so I'm constantly having to empty the bag of rocks. I also find the bag comes off very easily too (though it's probably b/c it's too heavy with all those rocks).

No, I do not recommend this product.

This only works if you have extra room to add water to your pond

The idea is great, but in oder to work you must add water to make the apparatus work. As the water runs to force the larger gunky pieces into the bag, the water from the hose goes into your pond. My pond does not need extra water, so I can only use it a very short time. I have to pump water out of my pond in order to use this. Kind of counter productive to do both things.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good idea but very light weight

I love the idea of an inexpensive pond vac but this one is pretty light weight. The first time I used it the hose connection to the vac broke off making the product unusable. I am trying to repair it before giving up.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good for large debris

This vacuum will remove leaves, acorns, twigs, decaying plant material, but do not expect it to remove fine particle silt. The silt passes right through the velcro bag, it even passes through the specially designed socks that you can also purchase. Another problem feature is the small bag, it will fill in minutes and if you don't remove it quickly enough the velcro will open dispersing the collected debris. I did solve this problem by attaching the larger bag from my in-ground swimming pool leaf eater. I would recommend this product if it is only for debris.

Yes, I recommend this product.
