How exactly do you clean this?
- To clean you start by scrubbing with an iodine free salt and the rinse thoroughly. Then you allow the wood to dry completely (to avoid splitting) and bake it at 325-350 degrees F. for an hour. It should dry out the wood and kill any bacteria, mold or any waste that should happen to be on it.

can u use driftwood in freshwater tank
- you can use driftwood in freshwater tanks but it floats, you can put something over/on it to keep it under but then you have to worry about whatever you use popping off and smashing into the bottom of your tank and cracking it. (have you ever tried to hold a floaty under water and have it bounce back up on you?)
