Funny little thing.

My little female ferret LOVES it, the big male ignores it. It is her special little place. Very green and attractive, funny-looking, a good buy, really. I have an octopus and a fish for them, too! Really, everything in my house belongs to them.....

My ferrets both love this little alligator. It is roomy enough for them to snuggle together in it and they can turn around and/or roll in it. There is just enough cushioning to make it very soft and it seems very cozy.
The one word of warning I will give is to hand wash it. I machine wash all of my ferret bedding and after the 3rd or 4th machine wash, the alligator's legs started coming off and it started losing stuffing.
Overall I recommend it, but it is a bit more high-maintenance than I would like.

Can a chinchilla fit in this?
- Probably could if you got a large or a jumbo

This is machine washable, correct?
- I would wash it in the machine but hang it up to dry since fleece loses it's softness in the dryer.
