Bought this in addition to our 8 sided playpen for my son's guinea pig. With winter coming I thought it be an excellent way to allow the little piggy to play inside without soiling the carpet/floors. Plus there's the added ability to use it as a cover in the summertime to give the pig some shade as well as protect from birds of prey. The first time we used the cover as the base the guinea pig did indeed soil it a couple of times without making a mess on the carpets. Plus the cleanup was super easy! The only con is that it could use some more Velcro straps or even some button straps. It be good if it were a tad bit higher on the sides to keep me from getting so anxious about the pig accidentally escaping. Overall though it's an excellent, durable product. Cheers!

I purchased this mat for my guinea pig's pen so that she could run around without peeing on my carpet. The first day that she used it, it ripped at the seam and is unraveling.

Perfect for orphan kitten. The tall sides deter my other adult cats from entering so kitten protected and not underfoot. Quite sturdy. Plenty of room for kitten to play. Bought 2 Marshall mats so have one for both top and bottom. The mat keeps pen firmly in octagonal shape and waterproof. Can slide entire playpen about my living room without scratching hardwood floor.

this was an excellent product and i recomend it to everyone! it didnt wear out and it works great.. my hamster, Pancake, just kept running around. It is also very easy to clean
