This feeder is very lovely to look at, and the name certainly implied that I had found a feeder that would deter squirrels and let the birds have a feast. BUT, it took the squirrels all of 3 days to "spring" the mechanism that is supposed to keep them out. Once they did that, all the ports closed and the birds had no access to the food. It's only because we noticed that the feed level wasn't getting lower (and our birds can normally knock off a couple of inches in a day!) that we realized what had happened. I contacted Drs. Foster and Smith about replacement springs/hardware, and was told that none are available. To their credit, they graciously handled the return, but save your money and do NOT purchase this feeder.

I feel all dogs need veggies in their diet and Natural Balance happens to have one of the best formulas out there. They are active moderate energy level dogs with strong play drives so I feel this formula provides the nutrients they need for their daily requirements. I use this formula as a supplement with their high protein diet creating a well balanced diet. I highly recommend especially being a behaviorist myself a balanced diet along with exercise helps develop balanced happy dogs!
