This effective formula is entirely safe to use directly on snakes, lizards and other reptiles. It can also be used to clean surfaces and substrate of terrariums, as needed!

Ingredients

Dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate 2.1%, undecylenic acid 0.5%. Other Ingredients: 97.4%.

Spray directly on reptile, but not to excess (runoff) and all areas where mites may hide. Avoid spraying eyes and facial areas. Alternatively, spray Reptile Spray onto a cloth and wipe on reptile. Reapply as often as necessary, but not more often than at 3-day intervals. Do not treat snakes for at least 6 hours after shedding their skin.

Rinse & dry surfaces before reinstating reptile to habitat. NOT FOR USE ON AMPHIBIANS SUCH AS FROGS/TOADS.

Please get this product for your snake it worked and is natural it won't harm your snake. I used it on my red tail boa. Soak your snake in a separate container then clean and remove any substrate and just use newspaper for the month. Spray your snake and kinda let it run through your fingers then wash it off do this everyday till you see no mites left :)

It's only been a few days, but after soaking my snakes habitat, her toys and hides along with her water bowl, the mites seem to have vanished. She no longer soaks in her bowl nearly as much as she did, and doesn't seem agitated in the least. It's only been a few days, but so far, things are looking up. I have to get her another treatment, but until then, things look good.

Came home from the reptile expo with a baby albino and mites. I had to do two rounds, but it was my fault. This stuff is convenient and works. Can be used on enclosure and animal (just not the face) and animal can be put right back in to it's home. I used it nightly for two weeks, just to be safe.

This product is totaly non toxic and is the only EPA registered mite killer that does not require any warnings! It is so safe that you do not even have to remove the water bowl or the animal from the cage when using it. The best news is that it works. It melts the exoskeleton of the mites and they die instantly on contact. Unlike other mite products it kills all stages of the parasite including the eggs, larva, pupae and adults. It can be sprayed directly on the reptile and as soon as contact is made with the mites they are dead. I have used this product as well as almost everything else on the market and I'll never use anything else again. This is one of the few products that seem too good to be true but trust me it works. A totally nontoxic mite killer that won't hurt your reptiles or you but is 100% effective at wiping out your mite problem. What more could you want!

This product is great as a preventative or a treatment. However, this product is quite expensive and it cannot be used on amphibians. Still this is something lizard or snake owners should keep!
