Questions
Reptile bites
- I don't know about freezing the Bites, but they stay fresh for at least 2 weeks in my refrigerator. I have my refrigerator set on one number higher than the recommended normal temp, so its keeps food cold.

Replacement for insects?
- You don't mention if you are feeding dried worms/crickets or live, so I will say only feed the worms/crickets as treats. Dragon Bites have the protein needed so you shouldn't have to feed the worms/crickets at the same time. I have used Dragon Bites with Ragnor, my largest dragon, for 4 years and my other three dragons for two years. I also mix baby food veggies and fruits with their greens and Bites. They particularly love the baby food bananas. Ragnor, the biggest, was a picky eater until I found Dragon Bites. I highly recommend it.

- Thank you for your question. The manufacturer said they use no GMO ingredients in their products.

is this better then giving him live food?
- NO! Most reptiles that are raised on live food will NOT eat the freeze dried food. We found this out the hard way, and had to run to the store to get the freeze dried ones when out Leopard Gecko would not eat. Now, my daughter is trying her hand at raising her own crickets. It is only a small investment to get started, and is supposed to be very simple. If it works, it will save a lot of trouble running back and forth to the pet store, because the live crickets that you purchase only live a few days.
