Gobies are an excellent addition to reef aquariums as they have a small adult size and a lot of personality. The cultured Neon Blue Cleaner Gobies are very timid, hardy and will clean tank mates, which makes them a great addition to a reef aquarium. They can become territorial against other Neon Blues if the aquarium is not large enough so they should be the only goby unless they are a mated pair. This little guy has an adult size of about 2" and are a great addition to smaller aquariums. They have horizontal stripes of neon blue, white and black. In the wild, the Neon Blue Cleaners are found in the Western Central Atlantic hiding between coral heads up to 45 meters deep. In their natural habitat they will remove parasites from neighboring fish and this behavior can be seen in aquariums.

ACCLIMATION: Avoid exposing new aquatic life to bright lights after opening the box. Turn off aquarium lights prior to floating aquatic life. Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. A bacteria booster addition can assist with the addition of new aquatic life. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe for the addition of new aquatic life. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried and frozen foods, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller aquariums.
