My Chins love these!

Truckersmom

After losing one of my chins to gastroenteritis, I decided to add these to the diet of my other 4 remaining chins. They love them, and the the wafers can be broken in half ( I use the sharp edge of the counter to break them). Purchasing more right now! Oxbow products are the best!

rabbit loves these digestive aids. he gets them daily, and considers them a treat, helping to keep him a happy, healthy rabbit. started using after rabbit had a hard time during a bad shedding cycle. with these tabs, and some other care and attention, he hasn't had significant tummy problems since.

Our rabbit loves treats, but was having a lot of digestive issues because of that love. Our vet recommended feeding her these supplements as a treat instead and it has made a HUGE difference. She is a miniature breed, so we cut these supplements in half and feed them to her twice a day as a treat. She loves them...and I love that she is feeling better!!!!

My rescue bun has a GI problem, possibly megacolon. I give these to her twice a day & papaya tablets twice a day as preventive measures. I also give her belly massages with my hands & a small hand held massager when she is stopped up. I know when she is not well as she won't eat these even though she loves them. I also increase her papaya tablets to 4 times a day when she has her bouts. These measures, along with a rare syringe feeding of critical care when she won't eat have saved me a lot of money as her first bad bout cost me over $200 at the vet.

I tried giving these to my chinchilla because he gets occasional digestive problems but unfortunately, he hates them. I tried giving him a half at first and it just sat in his cage. I threw it out and offered him a whole piece and again, sat in his cage for days. He eats all his treats and food without problem though. I guess even chinchillas don't want to take their vitamins.

No, I do not recommend this product.

My bunny was suffering from coccidia (sp) and a yeast infection and was on medication. At first a whole tablet was a little to much for her but I gave her a 1/2 tablet and she tolerated it well. She thinks it is a treat and she loves it. She is now off her medication and is doing well with only minor complication. I know the tablet helps to keep her digestion in good condition. I was the best for all my bunnies and I know these tablets will help.

Great for older rabbits

These treats are great for my 11 year old rabbit. As my rabbit has gotten older she developed runny stools. I was giving her baths about once a week at her worse. I tried everything from limiting her fresh foods to changing her food to a geriatric formula. While these helped I noticed she was still having looser stools. I decided to add these treats to her diet, although I was a bit apprehensive as treats usually seemed to make her issue worse. I was delighted to find that when I use these with a higher quality food, she very rarely has any recurrences. I have been using them for about six months, and much to my rabbits delight, not a single bath has been needed. If you have a rabbit with a sensitive stomach I would definitely give these treats a try. It also helps that both my older rabbit and younger one love them. I tried a few varieties of the Oxbow supplement tabs and these are the favorite. They have a very nice molasses smell to them and my rabbits look forward to their evening treat.

Yes, I recommend this product.
