I hate writing negative reviews, but this item is so poorly constructed that I find myself searching for a replacement after only three months of use. It was not easy to put together, secondary to the poor quality of the materials, and it is already falling apart. The manufacturers stated that a wooden habitat is preferable for tortoises to prevent them from scratching at the glass walls of a terrarium, but my tortoise spends plenty of time scratching at the wood as well. Not recommended.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Tortoise Palace

Great size and much better for the tortoise than a fish tank. Fits perfectly on top of our greyhound's crate. Assembly was challenging and one latch doesn't work. Door over sleeping area doesn't quite line up properly so opening/closing very often may cause a problem. Overall a good investment.

Yes, I recommend this product.
