Steps are sturdy and seem to be great, but I can't get my 45 pound senior dog to use them. I keep trying, but time will tell.

We got t his Pet Gear Chocolate Easy Step II for our 4.5 yr old Shih tzu who had Disc surgery about 2 months ago. Although each step is a little higher than we would like, They are NOT steep and work well for that long body. The steps take up little room. It is very light an easy to move. Easy to put together, (my 13 year old did it).

Very thoughtful design. The steps are wide and slightly slanted which makes it easy for my dachsund to use. Sturdy contruction, easy to assemble.

I have a yorkie and the steps were the right height for him. The pad on each step keep him from sliding when he goes up and down and each step is wide and deep enough he can even sit on them.

These steps are great! So much better than the cheap set we used to have that is all covered in fleece. These will be much easier to clean and they are very sturdy!

- Not sure about that - it seems to heavy. They are not very wide and for a 90 pound dog I don't think they would like them very much.

- I don't have a ruler but my guess is 8 inches. They don't use their whole body to go up them i noticed. They propel themselves and mostly just her feet touch.
