I bought two grass hide-aways for my baby dwarf hotots for his first gift. The other one is a tunnel so of course he prefer that, but the hut is not bad as well. He hides in there when I play with him and thrill on him (lightly). Seems like he didn't sleep in there at first night, and prefer the soft bedding. But today he stays in the hut more often for a rest and snap. Moreover, it's a good chew toy. So far it's still thick enough, and I believe it could endure more than 2 weeks. I'll have new hut for him then :D

Rabbits ate this, didn't even sleep in it. Probably would work for dwarf rabbits, but not large rabbit breeds.

Yes, I recommend this product.

One of my 2 dwarf bunnies enjoys chewing on this and pushing it around her pen, which gives her some good exercise. My other bunny mostly ignores it. It could accommodate a dwarf rabbit inside, though neither of my rabbits uses it as a hide-away. Bigger bunnies wouldn't fit inside but might enjoy chewing and playing with it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

My bunny absolutely loves this hut! I even put a new, different wood hut in the cage & she will only use this one!

What type of grass is the hide-a-way hut made out of? The package says all natural, but I would like to know exactly what grass my bunny is eating.

  1. I'm pretty sure its timothy.
