I just installed this door on my dogs XL Igloo dog house. It is a peice of junk. Nothing more than a thin piece of plastic and a couple of bolts. The holes on the door aren't reinforced and look destine for failure. What's worse, the door doesn't even cover the entire opening. It leaves large gaps on each side. Do yourself a favor and either make a door or look for another brand.

This unit does not fit properly. It will not keep out the rain and the wind opens it easily.

This was a total waste of time and money. Does not fit the door opening well. Attaches with screws that go thru holes near the top of the vinyl. In less than three days of my dogs going in and out of the door, the unreinforced holes that attach the door had ripped out of the top. I tried making new holes in the vinyl and drilled new holes in the dog house to reattach the door but had the same result. Love the idea.... hate the product.

I recently purchased 2 of the x-lg doggie doors for both of my dogs indigo (igloo) dog houses and it is a great product. Helps keep the wind out and their houses are warm.

I so wanted this to work well. We didn't even install it. The plastic seems sturdy, but when held in place it didn't seem to add any significant protection. The way the house is made, it seems as if the rain or snow would just drain down the door, right into the igloo. Love the quality of the igloo, the stray cats love it, but we will make our own door.

The door is not a great fit to the dogloo entryway. I wish they cut them better or made a better door.
