If your dog's kibble doesn't dispense easily, snip a small section from one prong and test the rate of flow. This is our third Busy Buddy, and it won't be the last. This is our dogs' favorite toy, and always entertains and keeps them busy. Unfortunately, one of our dogs likes to peel off the rubber bumpers with her teeth, so there is some monitoring that is necessary. The toy is durable, but not indestructible, thus our third purchase in four years. All in all, it's a great way to entertain and occupy your pet.

I'd pass on this one, if I were you. My doodle loves toys like this but this busy buddy didn't last one use. It doesn't tighten enough and he was able to bite it open. Go buy a different one - I'd return this one if I hadn't tossed out the packaging.

My 8 month old lab/elkhound mix loves this toy, but because the holes are small, the only "treat" that will disperse through the holes is dog food. He loves the way it rolls and it keeps him occupied, but he also gets it open because he gets so rough with it. He is also chewing the softer plastic off the outside of the ball. I hope they can design one that is harder to get open with a more durable material on the outside. Great idea, needs a more durable design for tough chewers1!

This product lasted less than a day. My dog was able to bite the sides and open it and now it won't go back together. Total waste of money!

the holes fro dispensing treats are too small even for treats about 1/4" diameter. I had to trim the rubber ends. Dogs find it frustrating

Initially this product works well - creates quite a challenge for my boxer pup. Problem is that before he is done getting all the food out it always pops open. I suppose its from the pounding he gives the product it eventually twists back open. It seems sturdy enough just wont stay closed for the entire feeding session. Would be good for a dog that maybe is not as rough as mine.

If you have a dog that devours their food this us the toy to get to put there meal in. It's helped our JRT a bunch. It's better than any bowl to help them eat slower.

We have one dog with a LOT of energy and curiosity. We were having issues with him chewing things in our house while we were gone during the day, so I've been looking for ways to satiate his curiosity. I put his food in this egg in the morning and have him work to get it out - he loves it! we use small kibble, and I was worried about it coming out too easily, but it works great. I've heard other reviewers say that it comes unscrewed too easily, but we haven't had that issue. So far, a great experience.
