The toy always moves away from the laser so your kitty is the one creating the chase, not the other way around. The Laser Tail automatically turns off after 10 minutes to keep your cat from being over-stimulated by the moving toy. Press the single button on the underside of the Laser Tail, set the toy down and let playtime begin. The Laser Tail uses 3 alkaline AA batteries (sold separately).

Access the Battery Door Flip the toy over and remove the battery compartment door. Note that the 3 wheels and the power button are also located on the bottom of the toy. Insert Batteries Insert 3 alkaline AA batteries into the battery compartment. For safe operation, do not use rechargeable batteries or mix battery types. Activate Replace the battery compartment door, ensuring it is closed properly. Check the wheels to ensure no pet hair or debris is adhering to wheel surfaces. Press and release the power button, place wheels-down on the floor, and watch the fun begin!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The Laser Tail toy moves independently; use caution when the toy is operating to avoid tripping over or stepping on the toy.
