Bought this to litter train four kittens I bottle fed. (Ended up keeping all four) and my two older cats love it! It's finer, so they like it better than the larger clumping stuff. Urine smell is almost nothing. It clumps wonderfully. Only draw back is if you don't keep an unsealed bag in a plastic tote, they will try and play in it. I have six cats all told so I keep 2-3 bags on hand at all times, so I just use a large plastic tote with a lid, no more extra digging. I absolutely love that I can get it from the auto ship too. Every two weeks a new bag like clock work. Fantastic! I love this and it makes my life so much better.

Really like this litter. Our 2 5 1/2-month old kittens have never had an accident and our house doesn't smell like "kitty" because the litter controls the smell really well. We also like the fact that it's pretty much dust free. We should recommend this litter.

NOT ideal for kittens

I raised a batch of bottle babies. When they were ready for litter training I tried this particular brand and I really did not like the way it got stuck all over them. On their paws and nose and around the mouth, as well as their behind.... It gummed up pretty badly, so I had to clean everything up and switched to the natural CORN based litter. Non toxic and much more kitten friendly. BUT, I assume that this kitten attract litter would be fine for adults who know how to dig and cover and who don't step in wet spots or worse.

I have two adult cats and adopted a 4 month old kitten from a local adoption center. Little did we know the kitten was not litter box trained! After only a few hours of placing this litter in the box and confining the cat to a bathroom with the box the kitten begun using the box on his own! He has not had one accident since! Naturally my adult cats love the kitten attract also so it's is a bit spendy but worth every penny! One awesome feature is the clumping of this litter! It forms the tightest clumps I've ever had in any litter. I can vigorously shake the clumps even within minutes of the urine being deposited and the clumps will not break apart at all!! Awesome litter!

My female's recent litter of kittens would NOT use the litter box. I was at the end of my rope chasing 4 6 week old kitties around trying to prevent them from going potty all over my carpet. I've never had this problem before; even with my adult cats. I bought them their own little box just for them. I tried 3 different styles of litter (extra fine, regular clay, & corn). They would jump right out & run away. I really thought it was hopeless. I saw this online & rolled my eyes. By the next day I figured it has a money back guarantee, so I thought why not. Within HOURS of putting this in 2 of my boxes 3 out of the 4 kittens were using it. They were scratching in it, using it & going back to check it out. By morning all 4 were using the boxes. It's been over a week & I can honestly say they're trained. I still can't believe it. This litter also clumps wonderfully. I've never seen a litter like it (corn is almost comparable). When you scoop you think there will be a clump but there isn't because it's so fine & heavy. A 20 lb bag will last like a 40 lb bag I'm guessing from past experience with different litters. I will be buying the adult version when this runs out. I love it! I'm a believer. Thank you Dr. Elsey!!

This product worked great for the first 2 weeks I used it, but then Bam-bam decided he didn't like it anymore, started going outside of the litterbox. Very upset about this. It said 100% garuntee, and I expected 100% results for the price I paid for it. x

We have a 5 week old kitten that is just training to use the litter box. We went to the store with intentions to purchase a different litter, but it was out. After looking at all the options, saw Dr. Elsey's Kitten Attract and decided to try it. Boy am I glad we did. This is fabulous! I put our little kitty in the litter box and it was like he had been using the litter box forever. He immediately did BOTH #1 AND #2. Of course he is still too small to climb in and out himself, so I have to help him. But, boy it works. All I have to do is put him in the box every time and he knows exactly what to do. He won't go until I put him his litter box. We will be using Dr. Elsey's Kitten Attract until it is time to graduate to Cat Attract. We are customer's for life.

Yes, I recommend this product.

does this litter leave a scent on your cats. the one i use now leaves a icky smell on mine.

  1. No. This litter doesn't leave a scent on your cat. The litter doesn't have a scent at all actually. My older cats love it too. It's very fine and they love to dig in it. I'm not sure what scent the cats can smell in it, but they lose their minds when I open a bag. (In a good happy way) I have to keep bags in a plastic tote so they can not get to them they like it so much. They really love the fine texture as well. It's more like digging in sane vs gravel.
