The product shows well in the pictures, but closer inspection proved less substance. Rust was on joints, the one spring loaded lock and were inside of tubes that fell out every time we tapped the tubes. The caster feet did not hold firmly to the floor or the ceiling in my station wagon and kept sliding, and as hard as we tried, could not get the feet to anchor firmly to the vinyl flooring or the cloth ceiling. This cause the separator to slide and fall off. This product may work well with a vehicle with firm carpeted flooring, but in my case, it just does not work.

This is a solid product. We have a Pickup Truck and it does not have a console in back so it had an opening on the bottom, I was afraid my dogs would try to sneak under and get trapped, so I found a hanging basket, and I can put my dogs food or water in it while traveling. Nice door opening so I can reach my dogs quickly. Very pleased with this product.

The pet barrier works well and was easy to assemble in my GMC Acadia. It contains additional parts for larger vehicles. My only misgiving relates to the way that the pet barrier was shipped. The product had obviously been purchased previously since all plastic parts bags had been opened and the large box was poorly taped closed after it had been returned.

Very easy to install with 2 people. No tools needed. Feels very sturdy when installed. Fits my Mazda Tribute SUV perfectly.
