great cage for canaries/finches

I have a smaller Fife canary in the cage I bought and I'm very happy with it. My canary has enough room to exercise and the cage holds in the mess I usu
ally have to clean in just one day. I like the way the feeders are attached and can be accessed from the outside. It's also a nice looking cage and very easy to clean. I wouldn't recommend this cage for a hookbill or anything other than the smaller finches (two at the most in this cage) or one of the smaller canaries (just one). Overall I'm pleased with my purchase.

Not Good for Birds

Round cages have been shown to cause psychological problems in birds because they can't find a corner when startled. This is also way too small for anything to live in.

Nice, inexpensive, but assembly directions vague

I needed an extra cage to put my budgies in while I deep cleaned the cage, this was probably bigger than I needed, but the price was right. However, I found the assembly directions to be quite vague, and I got it together, but it's a little off.

I really like the cages very much and my Canaries really do well in them after I received the first one I ordered 2 more very happy with them and seeds don't get all over less cleaning

How big is the door on this cage? Does it slide up and down? I would like to use this as a sleeping cage for overnight, but i don't see a door.
- Thank you for your question. The big, middle door slides up and down & it measures 4-1/2"W x 5-3/4"H.
