Great for my Green Cheek Conure

I originally bought this cage for my dove, but she passed away over a year ago. I cleaned it up real well and now use it for my green cheek conure. The cage is HUGE. Amazing for the price.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good quality, looks very nice, easy to put together, very roomy. Great product for a reasonable price.

This is a very attractive, roomy cage. The instructions said two peple were needed to put it together, but I managed by myself and I am a small not so strong person. I am very pleased. I bought it for my cockatiels and am seriously considering a second for my parakeets. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice sized cage so their birds can fly some. The only negative is that the perches that are provided are way too fat for parakeets and probably cockatiels (haven't tried them out yet).

Yes, I recommend this product.

The best aviary cage I ever had

budgiegal

I have raised budgies for years. I have had 4 large aviary cages (in the $250 to $400 price range) and numerous small cages. This was, by far, the best of all. I kicked myself for having sold it to buy a bigger one....which was horrible. I bought my cage about 12 years ago and my review is based on that cage. I don't know if any of the specs changed since then. Mine was made by Caitec, but this looks like the same design. I didn't have any help, so It was a bit of a job to put together. It was a huge, roomy cage that could comfortably house a dozen budgies and give them lots of flying room. It was well made. Sturdy enough to be kept outside on my deck. The casters made it easy to move it about. I loved that I could pop open the top and put large branches in it. I loved the nice big front doors and the little side doors made it easy to get things in and out of the cage. The bars on the roof made it easy to hang toys (you can't do that with solid roof aviary cages). The plastic seed guards helped keep the debris in and the bottom door securely closed. Mine had breeder-box openings....which I made use of. I liked that I could use the grate as a divider and split the cage up when I wanted to breed a few pairs.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love it!! I own 2!!

I ordered one and love it so much I ordered another one. Several bars arrived bent, even though the box was not damaged. The cage bars are thin so this cage is best for finches, canaries, parakeets, etc.... Because the bars are thin, it really looks like an aviary and not a cage. I have 12 finches in one cage and 10 in the other. They have plenty of room. I don't use the crate, I removed it and line the bottom of the tray with newspaper. I also place the feeder tray and water on the bottom so it helps hold the seed in the aviary. If you put the feeder tray on the side then the birds will make a bigger mess and more seed will fall onto your floor.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Cage assembled smoothly (with second person to help), and not one thing was bent or damaged. I wish the floor grate had strong framing around it, as it's a bit "flappy" when cleaning it, but basically it's fine. You can place the cage's top dead-center *or* more on one side than another, which is helpful if you want to hang boings (spring-shaped rope perches) or ladders off the end of the roof for out-of-cage playtime. Very pleased with the cage and with Drs. F & S customer service.

Yes, I recommend this product.

ONE OF THE BEST PURCHASES I HAVE EVER MADE

I purchased this cage for my diamond dove. . This was an upgrade from a smaller cockatiel cage, which was too confining because he would always clamor to get out. I would have to let him out daily for exercise. I don't have this problem now. This cage is roomy enough for him to fly around and he never wants to get out of it. He loves it. Plenty of room for toys, mirrors etc. And the wheels make it easy to move around.

Yes, I recommend this product.
