I have purchased pens from here in the past for my bunnies and have always been so happy with them, loving the covers that make clean up and keeping tidy, easy. They were great for my special needs bunny to have a safe space until I could bond him with my other bunny. I had purchased two to make a big space for him. They are also great for outdoor safety so bunny loves can enjoy the sunshine and fresh air while remaining safe. I love that they come with extensions to make them larger, which is what I purchased this time for my new bunny, to help keep her safe until she felt integrated into our home and not have to worry about the cats bothering her when we were out. She's fully integrated now, so the pen is just on hand for outdoor fun and in case we need to travel with her to create a clean and safe space in a new environment.

I got this for my lionhead bunny so he could hang out downstairs with me during the day. There are a lot of cords, etc. so it's just not safe for him to run around free like he does upstairs. I wasn't sure how big this would be so I bought the extensions. I also bought the mat/cover. I was surprised at how big it was even before I put the extensions on. I used it without the extensions to give my cat a pen to lay in outside on the grass. He loved it! I put the cover on and that shaded him and prevented him from escaping (which he isn't prone to do anyway). Today, I used it for the first time for bunny. I added the extensions and used the cover as the bottom mat. It's huge - big enough for me to put him maze haven in and still gives him room to run around it, plus room for a litter box and his water and hay. I really like it! The loops can be a bit hard to fasten. There are two at the top, one in the middle and one on the bottom. It's hard to get them all fastened together, so I have just been looping the top and the middle, which is fairly easy, and stable enough without the bottom one fastened. The walls are high enough that bunny can't jump out, but he's pretty small. It's also REALLY easy to put together. Only takes a minute. And easy to disassemble and store.

I have two of these pens hooked together for my rabbit's home. I needed another pen to use when she's at work with me, in an elementary school. The pen is sturdy, high enough to not allow a medium-sized rabbit to jump over it, and the original ones have lasted well. The only thing that proved a challenge is lining up the holes and "pins" to close the pen. My rabbit figured out how to push one side up and open the pen. I have found it much faster and easier to use a couple of bolt snaps to close the cage, only using one end of the bolt snap to hold two of the vertical bars together as long as the bolt snap is big enough.

It's a very good idea to have this item for a small pet. But some things are not completely comfortable. There is no door to enter the pan, so if you are a small person it's hard to get your pet out. Also I got an extension with 3 extra panels to make 11 panels pan and purchased larger size protective bottom and the bottom way to large for this size pan. I managed to hook it up anyway, but it doesn't fit properly.

I have used this play pen for sick chickens that need to come inside to recover from injury. The mat keeps the floor clean and the pen is just the right size with the extension kit. I have also used this for long term housing for one of my "pet" chickens who lives inside the house. (She goes out for "play-dates" when the weather is nice, but after several months of trying, I was never able to integrate her into my flock. She's a special girl and needs a little extra TLC.)This pen works great for either purpose. I would definitely recommend it and I can imagine it would be a great play pen for any other small animal - rabbit, ferrit, etc. It's pretty sturdy, too.

Spacious and just enough room for him to get effiecent excersize. Very happy with my purchase. The cover work wonderful with him outside but he doesn't even attempt to jump out of this cage like he has with others! Love this product!

Houdini aka ferret, loves this exercise pen. Keep dogs and ferret separate, protects both, my silky terrier gives him kisses and he kisses her. Because she is a terrier do not want to take chances. If you are looking for an exercisepen for ferret this is great. Be care when setting up x-pen, there s a top and bottom. Top has one less bar going around pen, this keeps ferret in since they can climb.

Bought for my Dwarf Lionhead rabbit, but found great use for blocking areas for him and my 3 pups. I use extension at bottom of stairs to prevent all from going upstairs and use pen to block off plug access in back of dining table. I also use it on patio for fresh air. Great product!
