We were looking for a gate to secure the entrance way to our front door in case the dogs bolted when we opened the door . (new house/ residential street traffic) The glitch was finding a gate that was wide enough AND that didn't look tacky. We didn't want to alter our home's entrance siding with hinges, screws, etc. This is a beautiful product, easy to assemble and looks great in our entrance.

After falling over a gate that supposedly maintains suction to the wall, I found it wobbly and insecure. This gate is sturdy, free standing and easy to move. It was fairly easy to assemble. And it's lower, making it easier to step over.

I am so glad that I bought this gate. It is stable, adjustable, easy to move, easy to set up, good looking and simple to safely step over. I don't know what more you could want in a gate. This is just what I needed. It is made well and much prettier than typical gates available today.

The gate is very nice and sturdy. It has a solid structure, I just wish that its length in high was a little higher. I have a miniture schnauzer and I am afraid that he might jump out the area where I keep him. Probably not recommended for medium or large size dogs.

This worked out perfectly! We had just moved into a new home and needed a way to make our pet safe without being locked up in a cage. He enjoys his freedom and does not have to be caged whenever we have company or when the house doors are opened we do not have to worry that he may have slipped out accidently without our knowledge.

If you have a wide doorway or entrance to a room , this is the gate for you. .. I use it to keep my large dogs from other parts of the house. It is especially useful if you have a sunk in room with steps down to the room, this can go at the top of the step in the hall. I find the lower height looks better and is easier to get over for adults and kids and still discourages dogs - it also does not tip at all and slides easily - A great product you can only get online.

Love this gate - I have an extra wide hallway that I needed a gate for to keep my two yorkies from going into the foyer to leave puppy messes. It works perfectly. I was concerned because it was free standing that they would knock it over but it is very sturdy - also it is wonderful because you can just step over the gate with no problem. Perfect for pet owners with small dogs.

Easy to assemble. It looks great in my living room as it blends in easily with my white molding. Very sturdy and easy to step over.
