My chihuahuas are a little overweight. Would "Royal Canine Chihuahua" or "Royal Canine X-Small" help to get them to maintain a better weight?
- Definitely! I feed mine Royal Canin Adult Chihuahua "kibbles", but I had to cut down the quantity on the label ... it says 3/4 cup for dogs under 10 lbs. My dog weighs 6 lbs. and he gets 1/2 cup in the a.m. and 1/2 cup in the p.m. He is 7 years old, maintains his weight, and is very happy with it! (It did take a little time for him to accept it, however; be strong!)

My small dog is very picky with her food. She has a very small bite and finding foods or treats is hard to find . Which food and treat?
- Check out Royal Canin for small breeds (or whatever breed your dog is). Chihuahua's have very delicate teeth and they can't eat hard foods ... this food is not only easy for him to chew, it's nutritious and cleans his teeth! He loves it! Read directions for how much to feed. My dog is 6 lbs. and gets 1/4 cup in the a.m. and a/4 cup in the p.m. Love ... love ... love this product! My vet feeds Royal Canin to her dogs!
