Works well but doesn't last as long as it suggests. By one week, it's time to change it which makes it kind of pricey to replace so often because the refills are expensive! But does a good job keeping litter cleaned out.

I have one small cat just about 8lbs this product works great for my lifestyle I work long hours and dont have time to get to the litter box every day. The ScoopFree allows my cat to have clean litter all day. The chamber does however fill up rather quickly so if you have a larger cat or more than one cat than you may want to have a spare litter box and if you let their "business" sit in the chamber too long it will start to smell. Over all I am very pleased with this product and recomend it to people with one maybe two cats. :)

We are very happy with the Cat box. We have only had to maintain it once in a week and that was because we used the advice in the booklet to use our old cat littler to acclimate the cat to the box. Shouldn't have done that but when we change the box things should go better. The cat does like the box better than the last one

Purchased for 2 cats. Although it is fairly quiet and I thought cleaned decently, the smell was horrible. My cats used for maybe a week and then decided it was too bad for them to continue to use. We have switched back to the traditional litter box:( Would NOT purchase this again or recommend to a friend.

I was so excited to get this litter box... but... for our 2 cats (Male 14lbs - Female 9lbs) each tray only lasts 4-5 days before the smell is too much. It would not be such a problem if the replacement trays were cheaper. Another big downside is that the crystal litter tracks everywhere, and it is not pleasant to step on.

So far, I am thrilled with this product. No need to bend down and use my hand and arm muscles, as I have arthritis and fibromyalgia.. It is very quiet and smells only once in a while. I spray a little deodorizer and this takes care of it. I am tracking the times my "clipper" uses the litter box. This will help me into the future to give me a better idea how long the litter lasts. I have a 2nd home in Florida and plan to buy another one to leave down there.

Having shared my abode with cats for the passed 50 years I was REAL tired of living with the cat box and all that it entails.Recently my cat's groomer recommended the Scoop Free automated cat box. I went right home and ordered it. It's been in my home for 10 days and it is all that is advertised. Truly, it has changed my life! My 15 year old cat didn't even blink when I set it up.. She went right to it, no problem. I am VERY pleased with the product...and the fact that my dog is not using the cat box as a cookie jar. Mission accomplished.!!

I read many reviews of different automatic litter boxes before making this purchase, scoopfree had the best and I can see why! I adopted a 13 year old cat a few months ago and I was nervous how she would like an automatic box, we'll she was quick to get adjusted to it. The machine is quiet and with one cat the litter only needs to be changed once a month. Changing the litter is easy you just have to buy the refills and slide them right in. I bought the box with the hood on it and my 13 pound cat can navigate in it well.

It would. I have two cats and it keeps it cleaned out but you have to replace the litter trays more often!

If you mean oddor filter, the answer is NO. But you won't need it. The crystals will stop oddor for up to 1 month.

It only runs by plug in. Since it's an indoor use only product you shouldn't have any inconvenient with that.

My largest cat is between 20 and 25 pounds and he fits in it fine with the lid. He goes in and turns around with no problem.
