My cat is black with long hair. I tried the clear ones first but I had a hard time knowing if they were still on. So pink it is! I can see his claws covered and when they fall off, I can see them better on the floor. Now he can scratch the carpet to his little hearts content without tearing it up.

We ordered these as we have moved to a new house and our cats being over a year old our vet did not recommend having them de-clawed. However, she did recommend these plastic tips. I ordered them and when they came I read the directions through several times. At first I found the adhesive a little hard to judge when it was in the tip and would not overflow onto my fingers, but that is just a trial & error thing. Once they were on the cats we had a period of finding one or two of the caps on the floor, but we put them back on with fresh adhesive and they left them alone. Wonderful idea, wish I had thought of it!

loved how easy it was to apply the nail covers to the cat and how they have saved our furniture! They have been on for about a week now and the cat never seemed bothered by the covers or acted like they were uncomfortable. Will be purchasing these for a long time to keep our furniture like new. Thank You!!

Are Nail Caps availabe to purchase in stores?

ARE THESE SAFE FOR CATS IF THEY ACCIDENTLY SWALLOW ONE?

    1. We have had no problems with with our cat. She is a little devil and she tries to remove them on her own but has not succeeded in removing them on her own unless we clip the ends first. They have help greatly in her not destroying our home and it is a safe, effective alternative to having the nails removed.

Do the soft claws come off easily?

    1. You might have to plan a little bit in advance for the removal. When a cap has been on too long for one of my cats, I have to remove them. You're instructed to cut the tip of the cap off and they will come off on their own. I cut the tip of the cap off and within a couple of days the cat will have it off on their own. I have never tried to cut the tip off and then pluck it off of their claw, though.
