My dogs, although obnoxious, plowed through this barrier like it wasn't even there. Now, once I pulled over and I scolded them, they stayed in the back.

No, I do not recommend this product.

This product is super easy to install and works great. I have a Nissan Rogue which is a small SUV and it barely squeezes into the space so this is great for a small SUV but would have also been wonderful for my Explorer. Our lab stays put if there is a barrier up so she doesn't really test the limits of products like this so the fact that it easily folds up and out of the way is ideal for me.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the greatest invention ever!!!My dog used to climb over my head, wedge his body between the seats, fall thru the crack when I would stop the car. He is safe, I am happy. This barrier is strong but soft, does not cut off rear view mirror. If it can keep a head hunting dog it will contain anything!! My dog is a Golden Retriever Boxer mix,,,she is a big girl.

Yes, I recommend this product.

One look at this flimsy thing, I knew my Chesapeake would jump through this in a heartbeat. Tried to fold it up and put back in fabric holder, but stitching on that broke as we put it back in. This thing might work as a barrier for blind, sick, or very old dogs.

No, I do not recommend this product.

The cargo barrier net is as described. For our dog it is great. He is not agressive about getting forward in the vehicle but he would be forward without a barrier. Nor is he destructive. So this product is great for this dog. It is just enough of a barrier to keep him in the cargo area so that we can put the windows down and he gets plenty of air on a warm day. If he had access to the front seat with the windows down - he would jump out to join us. In fairness to people reading reviews, this would not have been enough for our last dog - he could have torn it up before we left the driveway. If you have a dog that doesn't want to be confined or is very eager to escape, this product is not what you should purchase. You need the metal barrier.

Yes, I recommend this product.
