This dedicated car seat for dogs makes car rides safer by connecting securely to one of your vehicle's seat belts. The included Happy Ride Seat Belt Tether attaches your dog's harness to the seat belt (for optimal safety we recommend using a crash-tested Happy Ride Safety Harness, sold separately). The sturdy, rigid frame is easy to assemble and install in the front or back seat of any car, truck or SUV with seat belts. The strong, lightweight plastic panels lock together with no tools required. This is the first car seat that our dog has really loved. Our daschund, a mini, weighing 12 pounds is able to stand up without the sides breaking down. The seat is sturdy, buckles in easily and allows her to sit perfectly high enough to see out the widow. You wont be sorry with this purchase. The directions was a little hard to follow but overall assembly was somewhat easy. Will recommend to my friends with small dogs..

The assembly instructions were great. My 23 lb Dachshund fills it up but has room to lay down. It was a very snug fit in the passenger seat of my Ford Ranger with the center consul down. My dog loves it and can see everything. No longer wanting to be in my lap.

I'm in the car quite a bit and always take my little Cairn Terrier with me. I was looking for a safety seat that would elevate her enough so she could see out the windows but still keep her safe. This Solvit Jumbo seat fits the bill! At first I thought it was going to be too big, but it gives her plenty of room to stretch out and it's a sturdy built product, which gives me comfort knowing she is secure. I love it and so does she.

I was very surprised when I unpacked the car seat cover because it didn't look like the picture online; it wasn't quilted and the pillow was fake lambswool not the same material as the cover. I was very disappointed because the main reason I ordered it was the pillow wasn't fake lambs wool which I've found sheds. I had bought 2 and ended returning one. Plus 2 wouldn't fit in the back seat of my car because the top is wider than the bottom.

No, I do not recommend this product.

good construction but not good for my pet. It sets a little to high for my guy. He doesn't like to be tethered to the seat so I feel he is to high and vulnerable to flying out with a quick stop. Great for back seat,in the front it take up the whole seat and the airbag going off would not be a good thing.All in all a good product

Easy to put together. No tools needed. My dog jumped in it before I even had it in the car! Two small mixed breeds fit in it well. Does not fit in my front bucket as intended, but turned it fits great. Ideal in backseat. Easy to strap into car, easy out too.

my box was also damaged upon arrival (as someone else had noted in one of the revies I had read before purchasing) but contents were undamaged. Easy to assemble and dogs like it. I was expecting more room based on customer reviews but dimensions are accurate. I can see why it is "booster' seat and not a safety seat due to hard plastic sides, but I think I can add foam padding to make it safe for auto transport. I needed to purchase a second one for second dog. I have 12 and 15 pound shih tsu's and they both will not fit comfortably. As other's have noted, dogs enjoy using them in the house a well as in the car.

This seat fits perfectly in the passenger seat of my truck, and is the perfect height for my pup to see out the window. As soon as we get in the truck he settles right down and is no longer climbing all over me and getting in the way. It's lightweight but feels very sturdy. The only thing I don't like is that it's a bit tricky to get the seat belt through the frame if the belt has a chest belt as well as a lap belt; this makes it a hassle if you often have to take it out / re-install it. I don't think there is any way the manufacturer could improve it, though, so I still give it 5 / 5.

    How is this particular car seat attached? Where does the seatbelt go.

      The seat belt goes through a slot on each side but also the teather also goes through the seatbelt which makes its very secure. and with the car seat being make of plastic you are really able to pull your seat belt snug without any give. Loved that feature of the product,
