I have 2 amazons and a military macaw. All three absolutely love these stick perches. I have several on the outside of their cages for play time and they are occupied for hours. It keeps them from chewing things they shouldn't.

I have bought for my macaw the Celebration Toys Paper Party Favor at least 3 or 4 times. She loves it and of all her toys (and she has a lot) this is the one she enjoys and plays with the most.

I have a Lesser Sulphur Crested Cockatoo that loves this toy. He gets several weeks of pleasure from this toy unlike others that he destroys in a day or less. He enjoys pulling off the paper sticks and chewing on them until they are unraveled. He also enjoys chewing on the wooden block. He has gone through 4 of these in the past year. Will continue to purchase. Foster and Smith has these at a good price compared to pet stores.

How are the sticks attached to the inside of the blocks? Is an adhesive used, and if so, what kind is it, and is it bird safe?

Thank you for your question. The sticks are glued in, the type of glue isn't currently available. The glue is safe for birds.
