Selective a be fed to appetite however weight and wellbeing should be monitored regularly. If you are feeding Selective to your guinea pigs for the first time, make sure you change from one food to another, gradually over 10-14 days. At first, you should mix a small amount of Selective with your guinea pig's current food, slowly decreasing the old diet, whilst gradually increasing the quantity of Selective. A sudden change in diet can cause digestive upsets - even when you are changing to a better quality diet - so take care!If your guinea pigs are used to a sugary diet, you may find it takes them a while to change, but persevere as it will help to benefit your pets' health in the long term.Fresh hay and water should always be available.

Only food I buy

The vitamin C is essential to guinea pig health and this food is a great source of it. This food is also a great way to keep your pet's teeth trimmed down. My boys love crunchy things! It must also taste great because this is the only food my piggies will eat now.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I noticed my guinea pigs were pooping way too much with Ecotrition. So I switched to this food and they actually are pooping way lesser.

The Best Guinea Pig chow ever!

I have had and raised 100s of Guinea Pigs in my time and I have never seen my prized porkers go so crazy for chow before! I have even fed them fresh greens and while they are eating I fill their chow bowl and they actually come over and eat the chow. Crazy! I still have a bag of a different brand and they now scatter that food all over their houses and eat just their favorite bits. I may just throw it away at this point. I checked the brand's website and it appears they are from the UK and really care about small animals. I think many US brands treat small animals as an afterthought to fill out a catalog. Buy this chow and your piggies will love you!

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the first time I tried this brand of piggie pellets. My little boy always loves his pellets, but he is absolutely crazy for these! Apparently they are so appealing, that even my cat has eaten a few. :-)

Yes, I recommend this product.
