Is it ok to give 1 yo dog same food as puppy?

The primary concern for feeding an adult dog puppy food is that it may cause the dog to gain weight as puppy foods are higher in calories, among other things, that are intended to help puppies grow. Feeding an adult dog puppy food will not directly harm it but we do recommend feeding adult dogs an adult food.
