The filter motor generates a lot of vibration and is so loud that you can hear it in a room above. It's that low humming noise that penetrates walls. Other than that it's a great tank.

The lid doesn't fit well, and usually you just have to find the best place to rest it. It will sometimes fall into the tank. Also, because of the curved front, it makes the filter, which hangs outside the back of the tank, look HUGE. The light fixture is stationary. I have similar tanks where you can raise and lower the light fixture. Because you can't raise this one, it's awkward when you do your regularly scheduled water changes. Other than that, it looks nice, no leaks... but yeah, won't buy another one.

my betta fish loves this aquarium. the filter is very quiet and it was very easy to set up. i love how there is a space on the cover of the tank to allow for a power cord for a heater if you have one. My fish seems very happy so far with this product.

This was the absolute best kit I could have gotten! Had all I needed for starting a tank and for a great price too! Only thing is that the tank it came with got a crack down the middle of it in only the first water change. Still good though.
