I used the test strips, while at the same time using an API drop test kit. Everything seemed to be pretty accurate in comparison. It's a good "quick" check tool.

These test strips are great ! They're easy to use, accurate and quick. I was having trouble with nitrates in my fish tanks and these helped me to figure out the problem and monitor the nitrate level. I would buy these again, but now that I have the first bottle I can order re-fills and get just the strips (cheaper). Good product, thank you Foster and Smith.

Shelf life of 6in1's? And is 100pk 4x25 bottles or 1x100?

Thank you for your question. The shelf life from manufacturing is approximately 2 years. You can call or email us to find out the expiration dating of the product currently being shipped. The 100 count bottle is not 4 of the 25 count bottles.

Can these be used for a 7,000 gallon pond?
