Tetra Whisper 60 Air Pump (non-UL) can be used in tanks 40 to 60 gallons. Great price, ok quality

I purchased the model 100 with 2 outputs for my 75 gallon tank. After months of operation the air bubbles from one hose stopped and the other was greatly reduced. I investigated and found that one of the plastic output connections had completely broken off. Because of the location of the air pump unit it would have been impossible for anyone to have bumped/broken it, so I’m not sure how it happened othe than it was poorly made and it just broke.
The unit did operate quietly and for that I would recommend it. Just know that with it’s low price it’s not the best quality air pump available.

Slightly louder (but not noisy) than I anticipated but still a good product at a great price. I purchased two for a double wand/curtain in the background of my 180G tank. Powerful enough for deep water applications. Works perfectly. Came with a tee (to connect the two air outputs to a single) and a couple needle valves for flow adjustment (I don't think this was mentioned in the product description but the tee/valves are included in the box).

I bought three of these (size 10) for sponge filters in three different tanks and they all do what they are supposed to. I'm not sure I would say they're super quiet because all three of them vibrate so much, but you can make them almost silent depending on what you set them on top of. I'm especially pleased that all three of them came with a flow control valve, although I had to buy the airline tubing and check valves separately.

Not dependable and gets noisy

This pump is powerful. My model 100 is running two 12 inch air stones in my 125 gallon no problem currently. It is not dependable though. I've had three of these and each one died at about a year. I kept buying them because they create lots of bubbles. Smaller pumps I've used in the past were fine but the air stream was too weak for my liking. At first the pump isn't too noisy, but over time it does get noisy. Putting it on a towel helps a little but it still has a lot of vibration noise. Next time I am going to try the Tetra deep water pump.

When setting up my 3rd tank I went with this pump again because the other two have lasted for 2 years and are as quiet as when they were new. Best one on the market hands down!

- No, it did not. I replaced a very loud pump so I already had tubing.

I want to run 3 sponge filters on this, what model do I need?
- I use the model 20 for a ten gallon, two 3 gallons, and a jar and I still have to baffle it with control valves for my betta.

Do the air pumps come with an air flow valve and/or check valve or do these need to be purchased seperately?
- No they do not. You can do this by using a multiple gang way and just open one that is not being used.

- The model 10 is for a 10 gallon aquarium ; the 20 for a 20 gallon tank .
